This may not help you (apologies if it's brutally obvious), but the only time I've seen a "BIOS Checksum Error" was when the motherboard battery was dead.

Have you recently tried to update the BIOS? This thread would seem to contain the procedure needed to flash the backup BIOS to the main BIOS. I couldn't find any mention of it in the motherboard ...
