Located on the lower level, the Capitol Restaurant offers continental breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The Capitol Visitor Center is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The Visitor Center is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Inauguration Day.

Your guided tour of the Capitol begins with a 13-minute orientation film and takes about an hour in all. The Capitol Visitor Center also includes a large Exhibition Hall, two Gift Shops and a spacious Cafe.

Today’s Capitol complex includes the Capitol, six major House and Senate buildings, three Library of Congress buildings, the Supreme Court Building, the U.S. Botanic Garden, and other facilities.
