Chamberlain Garage Door key pad.

Replacement for wornout similar pad. Reliable brand and am happy with the performance. We used ours a lot and you can expect it to wear out over a period of time. I've learned that to extend the life of the pad to change the code after a few use so you are using different numbers, less apt to wear out.Replacement for wornout similar pad. Garage keypad remote
Reviewed on www.ebay.com·pauldemed
My family use our automatic garage door as the primary entrance to our home, which opens and closes probability 8-15 times a day. Most of the time we use the keyless keypad remote mounted on the side of our garage. I have used these types of keypad keyless remotes on my houses for nearly 20 years. The pads tend to last approximately 8 years. This new keypad works just as it was advertised, and I hope it will continue to perform as the others have in the past. I am very satisfied with this product, and for the price its an exceptional bargain.

After 25 years of constant use, my first Chamberlain opener wore out. Very east to install. Just remember that this model requires a yellow set button on the door opening mechanism. A nice feature is that when the door is open, one does not have to reenter the combination to close the door. After 25 years of constant use, my first Chamberlain opener wore out. Generally good but...

Generally a good well functioning product; however, I am replacing my original one because after just a couple of years of use it started malfunctioning with the buttons most frequently used being flaky and eventually just not working. I could reprogram to a different code and that would work for a while but those quickly stopped working as well. I am pretty sure this is the same problem that happens with TV remotes with silicone keypads - hand oils get absorbed and migrate onto the carbon contacts on the back of the keys coating them with oil and prohibiting electrical contact.
Hopefully this newer model has addressed this problem.Generally a good well functioning product; however, I am replacing my original one because after just a couple of years of use it started malfunctioning with the buttons most frequently used being flaky and eventually just not working.
