Imagine it’s 1948 and Berlin is cut off by the Soviets. The only way to survive is by air. One of the aircraft called into action was this, the Lockheed VC-121A Constellation. With its dolphin-shaped fuselage and triple-tail design, the Constellation was as beautiful as it was capable. This VC-121A was the military transport version of Lockheed’s famous airliner.
